About Us  This journey is just getting started. We are a family of 3 people and 2 dogs living in an old house in Oneonta, NY while we search for our dream of land, self-sufficiency, and continued debt-free living in rural upstate. We have been reading, planning, volunteering, saving, working, and getting AS MUCH experience as we can since July 2018.  Our hard work, diligence, and unwillingness to settle has paid off!!  We've made it to step two: find us a house!
